| Acrylic on Canvas - 1979 This the original and first portable parking space painting in the series "Port-A-Park". This unique and well received Post War work exhibited at the Columbia Museum one-man show by Blue Sky entitled "Nights" in 1979-80. It was then placed on loan with the Mississippi Museum for the next few decades after his one-man show there and shortly after they purchased the truck butt assemblage/painting "Air Brakes" for their permanent collection. A second portable parking space from the series "Portable Reserved Parking" exhibited at the Chicago Museum as part of an exhibit where Sky won the national AVAII award representing a 10 state region. It then exhibited at the Mint Museum, the DeCordova, the Equitable Gallery in NY, Waterworks Arts Center, & Georgia Tech in the architectural school. "Visitor Parking" was the 3rd in the series and it often was shown with "Portable Reserved Parking." It is usually displayed with a series of photographs depicting the artist actually using the painting near the university.
