When I was parked here on a summer night many years ago, while my owner skinny-dipped with his girlfriend, I had no idea that this would be the end of the line for me. The damp ocean air fouled out my distributor and I couldn't start my engine and my driver and his friend hitched a ride home. During the early morning darkness, somebody unbolted my V-8 Hemi and took it. Now sea oats grow up out of my engine compartment and I slowly rust away." |
